The Baker Street Journal is published on a quarterly basis (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) and has been in existence since its founding in 1946 by Edgar W. Smith. With the informal slogan "Never before has so much been written by so many for so few," the Journal has been and continues to be a widely-respected source of scholarship about Sherlock Holmes.
