A PDF eBook version of The Baker Street Journal is available for all issues from inception in 1946 through 2000 in the
BSJ on CD-ROM.

Free eBook PDFs are available for the BSJ index, and for BSI Books indexes.

What books are in the Collected Index?
All the BSI books available as
Individual index files are also in the Collected Index.

How are the Collected and Individual book indexes different?
The
Collected Index consists of separate PDF files just like the Individual indexes.  However, the Collected Index files come with an Acrobat PDF Catalog for enhanced search capabilities and is packaged into a single download.  The content is the same in the Collected and Individual indexes.

Are the Index files in PDF?
Yes, all the index files are in PDF.

Can I use any PDF viewing software?

How do I unzip the Collected Index package?
See the
Instructions for BSI Books Collected Index (PDF)

How do I search all indexes simultaneously?
See the
Instructions for BSI Books Collected Index (PDF)

What does the Collected Index Version number mean?
As we release more indexes we will add them to the Collected Index, and the version number makes it easier for you to know if you already have that set.  See the
Instructions for BSI Books Collected Index (PDF)  for more information.

Do you have any tips for using and searching your eBooks?
See the
Instructions for BSI Books Collected Index (PDF).

Although some of the information is specific to an old version of Adobe Reader, Randall Stock's website has Tips for Using the BSJ on CD-ROM as well as some BSJ CD-ROM errata.
