The Jewels of Lady Frances Carfax

Maggie Schpak is hard at work on the 2012 raffle prize, which will be the "out-of-date jewels" that Lady Frances Carfax left to pay her bills.  They're described in the story as "some very remarkable old Spanish jewelry of silver and curiously cut diamonds," and Maggie has crafted some striking 18th-century earrings in the "girandole" style (2 inches long), and a brooch (2.5 inches long).  She also is designing a necklace to which the brooch can attach as the center pendant, but with a smaller pendant to use instead of the large one if the wearer wants to wear three pieces.
